State Fair of Texas

The State Fair of Texas opens today! When I was a reporter in this town many years ago, covering the fair was one of my favorite stories. In addition to interviewing gobs of people about the fair, the photographer and I would spend our time between live shots pigging out on ultra-fried food!

I cannot wait to take my Little Kipster this year. He won't be tasting anything fried, but I know he will love the hustle & bustle of true Texas...especially the sight of Big Tex.
