Junior League Welcome Brunch

Every year, the Sustainers in my Junior League host a brunch to welcome our new or provisional members. It has been a long time since I was a provisional, but I remember the excitement of getting started in such a wonderful organization!

I enjoyed creating cupcake toppers with special messages for our provisional group, as well as a few Halloween toppers.

A little bit country with Kenny

Seeing Kenny Rogers in concert is an addiction for me. I have had the good fortune of spending time with him & his crew backstage prior to his concerts and last week wasn't any different. On my birthday, my mother, cousin & I saw KR in Houston. The hubby stayed home with our wee-tot, so it was a fun girl's night.

Calling All Superheroes!

C. Alexander called together his superhero friends to celebrate his second birthday.

Granted, trying to take a group photo of 14 rambunctious toddlers takes super human talent and one that I simply do not possess. I did manage, though, to snap pics of a few kids at a time and great individual shots. After an hour of intense play, our little Superkids gathered for some sweet treats in celebration.
